After reading the first part, you might be anticipating for my next 3 favourite food 🍲🍲🍲.
Egg
There are so much of misconceptions on egg🍳🍳🍳. It is one of the very early food that mankind eat it since tens of thousands of years ago. Since a few decades ago, people start to become skeptical towards this great gift of nature. A lot of people started to restrain from eating egg or even hardly eat egg🍳 after knowing the high content of cholesterol in egg🍳. However, the blood cholesterol level doesn’t seem to reduce even they have cut down the consumption of eggs🍳🍳🍳.
Recent study suggest otherwise, where even though eggs🍳 contain high amount of cholesterol, it doesn’t increase significantly the cholesterol level in our body for most of us, in fact, it increases significantly the level of HDL (a.k.a. good cholesterol) in our bodies.
So, there are pretty much no reasons to restrain yourself from eating eggs🍳, if you are a healthy person. Generally, 1-2 eggs🍳🍳🍳 per day bring more benefits than harm to us.
Wheat grass juice
Wheat grass juice is something that we can call it as a whole-food. By calling as a “whole-food” it simply means that this food provide most of the nutrients needed to maintain a healthy body. It has almost full range of amino acids needed by our body, rich source of vitamins and trace minerals. Wheat grass juice is not something you can just buy it fresh from the market. It normally comes in the form of dried powder.
From my personal experience, I have concluded a few points on how to select a good wheat grass juice product:
1. First, it must be organic, this is because we are drinking this juice extracted from wheat grass sprout, and we cannot afford to have pesticides, insecticides residue or heavy metals.
2. Secondly, the extraction process must be heat free to preserve the live enzyme as well as the rich nutrients content of wheat grass juice.
3. Try to source for pure wheat grass juice product as a lot of products in the market actually mix wheat grass powder with other cheaper filler such as barley grass or other fruits powder.
I personally consume wheatgrass juice every early morning, before I eat my breakfast. To mask the green taste of wheat grass juice, I will add some raw honey together with the juice and consume it. It taste very much better with honey and the blend well with each other.
